Downhill skiing, snowboarding, classic skiing, ski-touring – you can experience all these sports in the Karkonosze Mountains.

The leading localities are Karpacz and Szklarska Poreba and their two sports centres: Sniezka 1602 and SkiArena Szrenica, offering more than 40 km of downhill skiing trails for amateur and advanced skiers.

 The Karkonosze Mountains are the perfect place for practicing ski-touring. All the tourist trails are well-prepared for this purpose. The land relief makes cross-country skiing trips possible, as well as many downhill runs. More experienced skiers can try ski-alpinism.

Poland is making a name for itself on the European ski scene for its uncrowded slopes and friendly people. Compared to Alpine resorts, In these two towns, almost 300 km of cross-country trails with FIS certification are prepared in winter.
